The purpose of the training program is to ensure that trainees will be able to learn the way that they will make their students remember concepts taught during their mathematical education. In particular, the program aims to provide specialized didactic mathematical knowledge through innovative procedures, techniques and methods regarding the emergence of new research areas in the Teaching of Mathematics by using information and communication technologies. Furthermore, it aims to a high-level knowledge of modern teaching models, a specialized knowledge of e-learning topics, the development of an e-repository, the preparation of learners for the development of best practices in the educational curricula and the knowledge of the development of e-learning tools.
The program is completed in a total of 6 Thematic Modules, namely:
Thematic Unit 1: “Pedagogical and psychological problems of mathematics teaching”
Thematic Unit 2: “Special topics of mathematics teaching”
Thematic Unit 3: “General topics of mathematics teaching”
Thematic Unit 4: “Information and communication technologies as aids for mathematics teaching”
Thematic Unit 5: “Teaching suggestions”
Thematic Unit 6: “Final work”
