The aim of the programme is for academic graduates (regardless of their professional/academic backgrount) to get in contact with the three basic fields of linguistic study (theoretical, historical, applied), in order to better understand the description and value of the greek language, the principles of language teaching, the distinction between linguistic science and pseudoscience and the principles of terminology in a popular, captivating, pedagogical and interactive way. By attending this seminar, graduates of humanisic studies will expand their field of knowledge and graduates of other fields will get to know the mechanisms of language functions focusing on the greek language. Furthermore, the programme aims to contribute to the diffusion of linguistic research and the enhancement of humanistic studies by pointing out its interdisciplinary characteristics and supporting the educational knowledge and practice. By completing the seminar, trainees will obtain a broad and in-depth knowlegde on greek linguistics. Finally, they will be able to connect their field of expertise with language as a main tool of its processing and they will enhance their CV with an important academic as well as linguistic qualification.
