This 9-month program is comprised of 4 concurrent sections:
Section 1: Introduction to the Turkish language
Section 2: Introduction to the Albanian language
Section 3: Introduction to the Bulgarian language
Section 4: Introduction to the Serbian language
Each student will be able to attend from 1 to 4 languages and after they successfully complete the program they will be awarded a certification on the chosen language(s). The aim of the program is the initial contact of students (regardless of their educational/professional/academic background) with languages spoken in the Mediterranean and Balkan regions in their standard form, in a simple, comprehensible and pluralistic manner. This program includes language learning approximately up to the A2 level in one to four languages: Turkish, Albanian, Bulgarian and Serbian (each student will be able to choose from one up to four languages). Apart from the introduction to the structure of each language, students will also be introduced to the writing system that each language makes use, the cultural elements that emerge from studying these languages as well as the connections between each of these languages and Greek (mostly in the form of loaning). Upon completion of the program, besides the certification, students will be able to take part in language examinations of A1 or A2 level and will be able to use the language(s) they attended for academic, researching or even professional purposes.

The program is taught in Greek.
